What will you do at GAPSS?

GAPSS participants will have the opportunity to explore the world of plant science on and off campus. Participants will tour the hosting departments, Crop and Soil Sciences, Entomology, Horticulture, and Plant Pathology. We will tour the USDA-APHIS-PPQ facility in Atlanta, visit with greenhouse managers, and meet with faculty, staff, and students of UGA.

In 2008, the GAPSS students conducted experiments on plants, rotted potaoes with bacteria, learned about viruses from the Plant Pathology, met the Beagle Brigade, explored greenhouses, created art, enjoyed a Caribbean Steele band, and so much more....Who knows what is in store for 2009.
