I hope all of you are looking forward to the 2008 GAPP meeting.
Tentative Meeting Agenda
Registration (http://www.areg.caes.uga.edu/) this year will be $75.00 for regular members and $50.00
students. Included in this fee will be a)registration, b) dues for 2008, and lunch and supper (banquet) on 11 March and breakfast on 12
March.
Also, please insure that you have obtained your rooms at the Lodge
(see below).

The 2008 annual meeting of the Georgia Association of Plant
Pathologists will take place at Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge in
northern Georgia.
The dates for this meeting are March 11 and 12, 2008. The University
of Georgia will hold a faculty meeting on the morning of March 11; the GAPP meeting will begin after lunch and continue until noon on
Wednesday, March 12.
A block of hotel rooms has been reserved for GAPP at the Lodge
($69.00 double occupancy) for Monday (10 March) and Tuesday (11 March) nights. This block of rooms will be held until February
11th. Reservations for rooms can be made by calling (800) 573-9656.
Registration fees will likely be approximately $75.00, but will
include all meals during our meeting.
STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION: All students are
encouraged to particpate in the student paper competions at the
2008 meeting. Deadline for submission of titles and abstracts
will be 18 February 2008 to me via e-mail at kemerait@uga.edu.
